The Monterra at Whitefish is a common-interest planned development community that functions under the direction of its homeowners. Homeowners at The Monterra at Whitefish automatically become members of The Monterra at Whitefish Condominium Association. The Association ensures preservation of the community’s original planning and concept designs, and protects the assets of the community. The Condominium Association is responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of the property for the mutual benefit of all of its homeowners.

Governing common-interest communities through homeowners associations is an ingenious device whereby professionals are obtained to manage the community assets while authority and responsibility for the property’s maintenance is retained by those the most interested in the community’s welfare … the property owners.
